
Marketing Ideas for Local Ad Link
All successful sales companies can be summarized as follows:
HAVE A GREAT PRODUCT AND TELL A LOT OF PEOPLE

1. Go to www.OpenMarketForum.com and make sure you’re taking advantage of all of the powerful new marketing tools available online.
2 .Place ads in local print publications and/or online on Craig’s List, Monster, or other Job recruiting sites.
3.Attend business card exchange meeting (listed Monday's in the Sun Sentinal Business magazine) SAVE THE EMAILS AND BUILD YOUR OWN DATA BASE. These meetings are also outlined in the local section of the Sentinal every day.
4.Pick up cards and or email addresses when you meet anyone in the streets. YOU MUST LEARN HOW TO BLIND COPY WHEN YOU EMAIL THEM. Always refer to where you picked up their card.
5. Set up speaking engagements where people meet ie. Elks, American Legion, lawyers, associations, condo associations. etc. (Your leaders will do the speaking and you will get 100% of the leads generated
6. Order business cards – In your back office you can order them from the company in your back office on the .net site
7.Order a "Daytimer" 800 225 5005 (original size) I have found this the best system for keeping track of this business and your "to do" lists. It's small and will stay with you.
8.Build up a data base of prospects emails, Use an E-mail management system to manage your e-mails once you get over 100 or so.
9. Get on Facebook.com and create a Page (Pages are better than Groups for business) called Home Business, Advertising South Florida, Local Ad Link, or whatever you want and then invite all your friends to become a fan. Request to be friends with everyone in related groups…. Internet Marketing, Advertising, ect. And then ask them to join your page. Keep you page updated with valuable information..
10. Get on LinkedIn.com and do the same thing in their groups!!
11. Copy Company approved ads put them in a binder to use for presentations.
12.Call people in the yellow pages or on Local Ad Link already and invite them to seminar or meet them in their office.
(Categories like Internet, Advertising, and Marketing are perfect)
13. Always have business cards and pen with you AT ALL TIMES.
14. Get a list of friends & associates who might want to earn extra money. (add to emails)
15. Make at least three contacts EVERY DAY. Put three pennies in your pocket; when you speak to someone regarding the accelerator, move the pennies to the other pocket.
Don't go to sleep until you have spoken to three people!
16. Order a"Window Lettering" for your car. Cost is $159.00 including tax. The entire rear window from the outside will have a spectacular display and you can still out from inside the car. 17. Throw some parties!!. Invite EVERYONE around thats in the business and whoever you'd like to learn more about it. Have some fun but at least try to keep things professional :-)
18. Don’t use the words "upline" and "downline"; substitute the word partner, team, supervisor, leader or trainer.
19. Find wealthy people who would like to build a business using their capital, which will be
used primarily for marketing.
20. Approach your local advertising businesses immediately. Start inviting friends to meetings and taking actions on these marketing ideas. Remember, early actions tend to be repeated.
21. Quick start when you join is essential, Make up list of ALL YOUR FRIENDS & ASSOCIATES and let them know about the business. Don't be shy, just present the information to them and ask for their opinion. They'll be upset later on when you start making big money and you Didn't tell them about it!!
22. LEARN EVERYTHING ABOUT OUR PRODUCT (Buy books, read up online, join groups on the social networks.)
23. Don't become a "Compplanologist". Learning all the ins and outs about the comp plan will cost you money later on. I have never yet seen a "Complanologist" become successful.
24. Always keep in mind that this is a business of duplication. If you are not doing what we recommend here, you're people will not do it either. LEAD BY EXAMPLE - Have you ordered business cards?, Ran any ads?, Brought people to meetings?, Used any of the online marketing techniques illustrated on www.OpenMarketForum.com?, Found your first 2 Brand Builders?,
25. Invite prospects to our meetings. Every Wednesday at the Public Library - 1350 East Sunrise Blvd (2 Miles East of I-95) or start a local meeting near you.
26. Spend time with local business owners. Using screen shots of examples of ads in action is very helpful. Or better yet if you can show them some live examples that would be even better. :
