About LocalAdAdvice.com

LocalAdAdvice grew out of my frustration with trying to find resources for local online advertising for my friends that own local businesses.  I wanted to be able to direct them to a resource that would help them to decide what best way to spend their time and money was.   Most of the websites I visited were either overly detailed and meant for webmasters or so clearly biased towards the company that wrote them that the information was not very useful.

While looking through these websites I started keeping a spread sheet open and recording details about the various sites I was visiting, so that I could more directly compare what they had to offer.  I forwarded this spread sheet to a few of my friends who thought that information was so helpful that I should post it on the web for everyone.   LocalAdAdvice.com was the end result.

About Me

I am a 25 year old full time medical student.  My first involvement with internet marketing was in 1997 when I started an audio music production company for small bands from my bedroom.  Since then I have been involved in many different internet related business.  My most consistent business was my website and design and marketing company.  During my first year of medical school I basically gave up all outside activities including internet marketing.  Now that I am in my 3rd year I have more time to pursue my outside interests.
